Dayanthi Nugegoda
Dayanthi Nugegoda is the Professor of Ecotoxicology at RMIT University, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and Lead Researcher with the Aquatic Environmental Stress Research Group (AQUEST) in the School of Science. She has more than 30 years research experience and has investigated the effects of toxicants and other environmental stressors on aquatic organisms, from invertebrates to dolphins. She has published >150 peer reviewed journal articles, 12 refereed conference papers, 3 books and 3 book chapters. She has also submitted >30 technical reports to industry on collaborative projects, Dayanthi has graduated 23 PhD and 5 MSc research students, and currently supervises 7 PhD candidates investigating pollutants in aquatic ecosystems.
