Alicia is an environmental scientist with a background in ecotoxicology and aquatic ecosystem health monitoring. She spent 16 years in research before relocating to Far North Queensland and working as an environmental consultant. In recent years she has turned her hand to more community-based work and is now the Water Quality Monitoring Leader at Terrain Natural Resource Management. In this role Alicia works with a wide range of stakeholders to design and implement monitoring programs that build understanding, and trust in science, so community members can make informed decisions about how their actions influence water quality.
