Helena Ruffell

I am a final year PhD student at the University of Canterbury, in Christchurch, New Zealand. My PhD research focuses on the impact of microplastics in productive soils in New Zealand. This includes characterising microplastics present in different biowastes from around New Zealand, including biosolids and compost; and investigating the impact of plant growth in microplastic contaminated soil.
